Welcome to Caramba Crafts, my colourful corner of the internet where sewing, creativity, and a little joyful chaos all come together.

I’m Isbelis, a sewist, maker, mum of two, and proud craft hyperfixator. If you’ve ever fallen in love with a fabric before knowing what you’ll make with it, or if you’ve ever spent more time organising your sewing tools than actually sewing… you’re in very good company here.

Caramba Crafts was born from my love of making things with my hands: sewing clothes for my kids, experimenting with crafts, baking when I need comfort, and finding joy in the small, creative moments that brighten everyday life. I wanted a space where I could share that joy with others, especially with people who understand the thrill of a new project and the chaos of a growing a project strash.

Where I Am Right Now

Life lately has been a mix of newborn cuddles, recovery after a c‑section, and trying to remember where I left my seam ripper. Sewing takes energy (physical and creative) and right now, I’m slowly easing myself back into it.

While I get my sewing groove back and continue shaping this blog, I’ve been leaning into something that feels comforting and doable: baking my favourite recipes. They’re simple, delicious, and they’ve been keeping me grounded during this season of transition.

So you’ll see a mix here for a little while — sewing tutorials, crafty inspiration, and the occasional recipe that brings me joy. This blog is growing alongside me, and I’m so grateful you’re here for the journey.
